Terms of Use

Math Moves is a practice coach. It asks questions and gives hints. It is not a teacher, not a graded assignment, and not a school record. It should not be the only way a student learns a skill.

You need an account to use the coach. Keep the login to yourself. Teachers may invite a class. Students should use only the information their teacher tells them to use.

The coach can be wrong. Check the math. Don't turn in a coach reply as your own finished work. The coach is there to practice the steps, not to hand over the final answer.

If you upload a photo, it should be of the math problem, not of a person. We use it only to read the problem.

Some features may require Pro, paid through Stripe. Pro is a 7-day free trial, then $9/month. The card on file is charged when the trial ends unless the subscription is canceled first. The price shown at checkout is the price. You can stay on the free coach if you don't want Pro.

Don't use the app to cheat on a test, to harass someone, or to upload anything that isn't a math problem. We can close an account that is used that way.

We can change, pause, or stop the coach. We can update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply.

The app is provided as-is for practice. We are not responsible for a grade, a test score, or a decision a school makes. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or zero if you only used the free coach.
